MPPE recomenda a criação do Conselho de Direitos e do Fundo Municipal da Pessoa Idosa
06/09/2024 - O Ministério Público de Pernambuco (MPPE), por meio da Promotoria de Justiça de Santa Maria da Boa Vista, recomendou ao Poder Executivo do município a criação do Conselho Municipal de Direitos da Pessoa Idosa, bem como o envio à Câmara de Vereadores de projeto de lei para instituir o Fundo Municipal da Pessoa Idosa (Lei Estadual nº 15.446/2014) no município.
Se já existir o Conselho Municipal de Direitos da Pessoa Idosa, com legislação de acordo com a Lei Estadual nº 15.446/2014, então o prefeito deve apenas enviar o projeto de lei à respectiva Câmara de Vereadores para instituir o Fundo Municipal da Pessoa Idosa, que deverá ser incluído em pauta para deliberação e votação.
Por fim, a Prefeitura deve informar à Promotoria sobre as medidas adotadas e o acatamento ou não da recomendação, de autoria da Promotora de Justiça Juliana Falcão de Mesquita Abreu Martinez, que foi publicada na íntegra no Diário Oficial Eletrônico do dia 22 de agosto de 2024.
